Power is used to operate LSS equipment such as climate control, lights, communications, refrigeration, recycling etc. Energy can be stored as fuel, heat, cold or electricity. For sustainability, energy should be harvested from local renewable sources that are adequate (100%), non-polluting, reliable and available whenever required.
